Nearly Two Decades of Helping Children Thrive
The story behind SCHOOLZ OUT began in 2007 with a simple idea: give children positive, engaging experiences that help them develop through activity, play and learning.
It started with RUGGERBUGS, an early years physical development programme designed to introduce young children to movement, sport and learning through fun.
In 2012, that experience expanded into schools and nurseries through RUGGERKIDZ, delivering PE, sport, after-school clubs and enrichment activities directly within education settings.
SCHOOLZ OUT followed in 2013, initially providing holiday activities and extended childcare. Since then, it has grown into a wider school partner supporting children, families and schools through PE, enrichment, wraparound care and holiday provision.
What has never changed is the reason behind it: creating experiences children genuinely enjoy while giving them opportunities to play, create, learn and grow.
2007
RUGGERBUGS begins. Our journey starts with active early years physical development, helping young children learn and develop through movement and play.
2012
RUGGERKIDZ enters schools. We expand into schools and nurseries, delivering PE, sport, after-school clubs and enrichment activities.
2013
SCHOOLZ OUT launches. Holiday provision and extended childcare become the next step in supporting children and working families.
Today
One trusted school partner. SCHOOLZ OUT now brings together PE, wraparound care, enrichment and holiday provision to support schools, children and families.
